connelly j stouffville has a golf doctor his name is paul gardiner and he has a story or two to tell about his patients well golf clubs arent exactly your average pa tients but gardiner fixes them just the same the proprietor of gardiner golf services on main st west of the fire hall has been restoring and repairing golf clubs for the past five years he opened his own shop in stouffville seven weeks ago although most clubs he ban dages have gone through the nor mal wear and tear of use others have suffered rather humorous injuries some of gardiners customers walk through his door with clubs that have collided with trees they got too close to a tree and when they swung they hit the tree and the shaft snapped he ex plains other customers have accidently backed over clubs they left behind their car gardiner regrips reshafts shortens and lengthens irons and woods he also refinishes clubs with paint and lacquer and pours lead powder down some shafts if a client wants to add weight to his club with whitchurchstouffville being home to many golf and country clubs the whitevalc resi dent saw a need for his type of service in the area people find it alot cheaper to repair their clubs than purchase an entire new set he says gar diner charges 15 to refinish a club 18 to reshaft an iron and 20 to reshaft a wood his shop number is 6406590 bantams shine the edwardsmurphy bantam clippers
