been busy old friendships had resumed and new friendships had started but now the alltoofamiliar routine of home rooms seating plans and morning announce ments was once again under way reminding students and teachers alike that the summer of 86 was over and the school year of 8687 had officially begun bravely fighting the rising wave of discontent such a realiza tion brings the student council headed by duff wallis treated the school to not only a nauseatingly cheerful rendition of start all over again but such thoughtprovoking items as the word of the day the thought of the day and the interesting fact of the day needless to say it was a very long day to successfully survive the first week of school is a formidable task however for most students things like 75minute classes and having ones own locker are com monplace yes the 198687 school year de finitely started with a bang and a flash and a power fai lure as students were mov ing to their home rooms friday morning power lines connected to the schools generator were se vered leaving the building in tot al darkness powerless howev er amid the ensuing pandemo- nium new principal peter bright took charge and soon the
