been a year in the mak ing and promises to satisfy all tastes the reason we did this is be cause markham is growing in such a diversified way said mr tanana it will appeal to all the residents of markham topping the bill is popular french musician jacquesloic lorioz and the music of his band egalite mr lorioz will also emcee the event closer to home the village folk ensemble led by markham dr judy silver will perform their traditional folk dances of the bal kans eastern europe and the middle east entertainment south american style will be provided by maiz verde green corn a four- member band that make use of traditional south american in struments the group plays such exotic instruments as zamponas pan flutes charangos 10string guitars bombos drums and kenas wooden flutes to round
