centre saturday the program spon sored here by the goodwood and district lions club was conducted by members of the durham region civitan club the christian womens breakfast was quite a success on mcmaniman delivered an excellent sermon at goodwood united church sunday the choir sang a beautiful piece during the service choir practice will be held thursday evening at the church last thursday brigade dinner at the community centre saturday an enjoyable musical presentation followed the dinner a large crowd attended the april 10 be nefit euchre for uxbridge cottage hospit al participants raised 50 to repair flood ing damage at the hospital frank jenkin- son a man who does the leg work for so many of us was a most deserving prize winner at the benefit other euchre win ners were stan
