forest while far removed from the whirl of urban life theres no lack of things to do interests include collecting and refinishing furniture skiing swimming hiking tennis skating and jogging shes also an excellent pianist utilizing this talent to teach others she has a class of six pupils in addition to all this sary is a part- time cashier at a store called strawberry fields in woodside square scarborough previously she ser as a dental assistant in the office of dr wm zeck then in the stouffville plaza sarys our girl next door with all the aforementioned extra curricular activities this pretty 18 year old still finds time for studies in grade 13 art and sociology are her favorite subjects following graduation she may take a course in social work at ryerson or enrol in the ontario college of art at this point shes not quite sure sarys a prefect at stouffville high a position she considers an honor family and school trips have taken her to a number of different places including europe mexico alberta florida and prince edward island some day she wants to visit british columbia and maybe take a caribbean cruise sary has two sisters irene and magdalene and one brother jerome was had by all the gradc-fj- students are looking forward to having a second dance recently our senior spartan volleyball team travelled to dunbarton high school to participate in tbeir first major tour nament of the season great effort and fine teamwork enabled the rookiestudded lineup to win the consolation championship in the finals they defeated dunbarton in two straight matches in the near future our spartans plan to play host to donevan collegiate oshawa dunbarton high school and fenelon falls high school in some out standing exhibition games stay tuned for the dates of these exciting attractions and we invite you to come and cheer our boys ken benson paul boynton david dart lloyd johnston angelo monopoli david rehiu richard reesor and mike salb on to victory after last weeks dazzling victories displayed by our jr and sr girls basketball teams the recent losses were extra heart breaking even though stouffville was the host king city adjusted to the new courts and both their jr and sr squads defeated our own hopefully some future argos are in the making as the grade 8s take to the field for an annual flag football tournament the boys and girls each have their own league consisting of four teams coached by the senior students this sport is just like regular football minus the tackles instead a belt with two flourescent orange flags is worn in order to stop a
