has already been acquired by the rubin cor poration planners of the new city the new city an nouncement provides for homes industry commer cial and school facilities councillor john kruger of pickering township who introduced the resolution said that no residen tial development should be permitted without com pensation in industrial development he indicated the residents of pickering might be called on to help with the costs of education under the new re gional government plans the resolution if turned down by the municipal affairs department provides for a request to the minister of education to provide safeguards for the township in the way of increased grafts pickering township is presently under a govern ment restriction that holds development there to not more than one ing judge hollinrake and mrs hollinrake have been residents at ballantrae for many years in announcing his re tirement he said we are not stressing punishment and imprisonment but rather rehabilitation for we want to make a citizen not just an exconvict in the opinion of judicial au thorities he has had con siderable success in straightening out youth ful offenders who appear ed
