saddened school friends companions and relatives paid a final tribute on thursday af ternoon to a wellliked young claremont district boy 17 year old alec skip bell who died in a tragic car accident on mon day evening dec 7th the oneill funeral home was filled and many of those present included students and staff teachers at stouffville dist high school where the deceas ed had attended the victim was killed instan tly when a car driven by 17 year old glen fretz a close friend and neighbour went out of control on the 9th cone of pickering and rolled over the fretz lad was one of the pall bearers along with four cous ins jim larry and rick spang and bill harper another friend brad jakeman also attended floral tributes were most beau tiful flower bearers included ron sargeant fred moore rick mckcnney john heaton brent weldon and bill goudie rev douglas davis was in charge of the funeral service the deceased was identified with the united church he was an active bowler in the mens celebrated her 90th birthday last thursday amid a group of 90 friends and rela tives she was elated at the number of persons who sent cards of congratulations miss pipher was born dec 10 1874 at the pipher homestead in dicksons hill at the age of seven she moved to stouffville for six months then to her pre sent location in ringwood she has lived in her ringwood home for more than 80 years with
