village answered an emergency call to a home on robinson st friday moining and freed a child that was trapped in its own crib the call for aid was picked up by the markhfim twp dis patcher at buttonville and re layed to chief white and offic er gunn in their cruiser within an estimated time of three minutes they were on the scene they were able to separ ate the steel strands of the spring and release the baby its face had ahcady started to turn blue from near suffoca tion the child was quickly re vived and hospital treatment was not necessary ordinarily both the chief and pc gunn would year born in uxbridge twp the son of the late william and maryann drewery he started farming near ringwood in markham twp in 1023 he mo ved to a farm at altona where he remained for 15 years and then to the present drewery premises near glasgow where he lived for 26 years in 1916 he was married to the former salome bean who pre deceased him in 1961 he is survived by thicc sons walter douglas and
