unionville plebiscite continued from front i not convinced mr ewart stiver said he had visions that one dsy unionville might become an incorporated village he suggested that altho the three trustees had limited powers they could still exert more influence than a single ward representative from what i have heard i am still not convinced that our village should become part of the twp he said he suggested that the present agreement between the village and the township with respect to road construction was not piactical and should be re negotiated he urged that some road work should be done in the north end of the village but suggested that backstreet pav ing could wait until more funds were available in the future township clerk mr h t c crisp said that in his opinion unionville was much too small to become an incorporated vil lage and suggested further that police villages were no longer considered practical he said that even the vilage of mark ham with 5000 population could not be considered an ec onomical unit ratepayer milton findlay suggested that unionville should have its own representa tive on the council if it became part of the township again mr frank roberts suggested that the village should be guar anteed that the fire brigade un it would remain regardless of any change on sale this week end at your carload food mkt stouffville liquid javex bleach- 45 campbells
