pet rolia on wed july 3 1963 sho was a daughtei of the late mr and mrs um rennie cone 10 markham at mongolia and she va in her 56th year in 1930 she mairied rev ern lucas of the inited missionary church who survives her along with their family of a son vernon of kitchener and daughters shirl ey mrs h donaken of colum bus mississippi iva mrs bob maden of breslau mervl mrs ron newmasten of kitchenei and norma at home a sister beatrice imrs roy wilson of claremont and a brother reg rennie of stouffvihe also sur vive thev had been icsidents of petrolia for one year a funeral seivice was held a petrolia on friday night july 5th in charge of rev henry good of sarnia and rev arthur lehman on saturday a service was held in the united mission ary church stouffvihe in charge of rev ward m 1953 the stouffvihe tribune pge j local and personal happenings death mrs i brubacher the funeral service for mrs cora may brubacher was held in the united missionary church stouffvihe thursday july 4th at 115 pm the pastor the rev a walsh conducted tho service assisted by district suo- erintendent the rev wm shantz mrs brubacher celebra ted her sixtveighth birthday on june 9 1963 although she had been gradually failing in health for some time mrs brubacher was able to attend church and sunday school each sunday morning mrs brubacher had resided in stouffvihe since 1915 her husband the rev ie bru bacher passed away in 1950 af ter about five years of illness an earlier period of residence in the village occurred from 1935 to 1938 when rev lb bru bacher was pastor in the stouff vihe united missionary church during her life as wife of a pastor in many communities in ontario mrs brubacher on occa sion filled the pulpit when her husband was unable to do so as a girl she was brought up in the home of a pastor the rev j a sider when the denomination was known as the mennonite brethren in christ mrs brubacher is survived hy one son john of stouffvihe and three grandchildren her other son elgin died on the mission field in nigeria in 1913 his wife edma brubacher returned to nigeria on june 12 to begin her seventh term there her sister miss myrtle sider with whom she has been living resides in stouffvihe of mrs brubachers three brothers wilmer frank and robert only robert sider of preston survives her nephew rev lloyd sider is a pastor in the united missionary church
