women news mrs mccowan the first regular meeting of the ucw was held tuesday feb 13 the president mrs ve ra taylor presided miss myrtle hamius committee took charge of the programme and chose the topic the church and its mis sion miss jean miller gave a brief account of the history of the early church following this miss myrtle ifamill gave a resume of the church and its mission empha sizing
