ko plant half million trees the metropolitan toronto region conservation authority expects to plant 300000 seed lings this spring most of them on private lands according to jesse brysort chairman of the authoritys reforestation and land use advisory board last year saw 500000 trees planted by the mtrca through out its 1000squaremile juris diction the tree planting operations will be carried out principally in the townships of albion cale- don king vaughan whitchurch markham pickering and ux- bridge the authority plans to plant about 150000 trees in its conser vation areas planting operations
