richard d jones and vi king were di rectors the parklike surroundings at the rear of buttonville hall pro vided a cool and pleasant place for the family parties which thronged to the event from the heart of toronto in the afternoon a pageant entitled canadians ah was presented with participating groups of indian frenchcana dian israeli polish ukrainian chinese scottish japanese croatian and german origin taking part presenting colour ful dances choruses and judo acts from 500 pm to 700 pm there was a picnic time and then followed an evening pro gramme in which members of latvian and entertained for them and presented them with a gift mr and mrs richard jones were pleased to welcome mr jones brother and his family mr and mrs wm jones of riverside california last week the jones boys hadnt seen each other for nine years bob millers wife mary lou and his mother mrs a w mil ler were present at convocation hall recently when bob an hon our student in civil engineering received his degree on monday evening of last week when the york choraliers presented their concert at vic toria square united church one of the soloists was mrs marg uerite jones and both mrs jones and mrs george hooper were members of the soprano section several local people were present among them mrs charles hooper and mary mrs s j english miss mary rod ick and jack rodick the james mcquay family was
