municipal affairs and could only offer sincerity mr henry slack told the aud ience that he would be a- candi date again this year mrs shirley hansen said that it was impossible to please everybody but he was trying to do his job better than they wanted it done he said if- elected he would see that a police officer as hon est and experienced as chief edwards would be left alone to do his job he said that the fact he was not dependent on stouff ville for his income would give him certain advantages as a councillor it would make for detachment and for an objective attitude dont encourage industry
