account amounted to 83000 while council claimed the total amount they owed was 42400 for transformers and 70 for two poles the account has been in dispute for several weeks according to reeve daniels he said he had been unable to ob tain any satisfaction from either the acting chairman or the sec retary of the puc he added that the local puc had been advised from the ontario hydro commission that the town would only be liable for payment of the costs of transformers al though at a later date council did agree to pay for two extra poles required the ont hydro communication also stipulated that once the service was install ed the liability for upkeep would rest on the local commission if thats al were required to pay thats all id agree to stated councillor lehman what do they want us to do pumps was also set forth in the ontario hydro commission letter its clear enough said dep utyreeve burk i cant under stand why theyd try and add three hundred more council continued to comment on the
