carrol who re sides near the property to be used had given deputyreeve richardson to understand that she had never been approached by the owner of the proposed auto depot this information turned the tion rescinding the former mo tion of may 2 councillor wylie said that he would not favor council altering its decision that council was well aware of all the facts when it agreed to the permit and he would continue to support the original resolution the deputation feared that the depot would be the forerunner of a fullfledged junk yard and were much opposed to the build ing the deputyreeve proposed a new resolution seconded by councillor wallwork and sup ported by councillor williams the new resolution read as follows where council on may 2nd passed a resolution approv ing of the establishment of an automobile parts resale store at lot 15 con 3 subject to certain restrictions whereas a petition has been presented to council by a delegation of property own ers and tenants objecting to the establishment of the abovemen tioned business on the grounds that such an establishment would depreciate the value of adjacent property and be a det riment to the whole community whereas an approved residen tial subdivision plan and estab lished residence is adjacent to the proposed parts resale store therefore be it resolved that whitchurch council rescind the resolution
