Maude Maria Pellatt was born about 1859 in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, England, the daughter of George and Mary Pellatt. She came to Canada sometime after 1871 and married Alexander Lawson Lunan on 5 Oct 1887 in Toronto and was living in Moose Jaw by 1891. She had 2 children, William and George, and died before 1901.

Miriam Maria Pellatt was born 7 Dec 1856 in Kingston, the daughter of Henry Pellatt and Emma Mary Holland and the sister of Sir Henry Pellatt. She married Henry Edmund Morphy (a young lawyer) in 1880. They had three children: Emily-Irene, Miriam and John Aubrey. She passed away in 16 Nov 1927, pre-deceasing her husband by 15 years.
