Notes:
This building, located at 23 King St. W. played host to a number of businesses throughout the twentieth century. John and William Cowan used the space as a general store prior to confederation. It was later taken over by Charles Bailes and used as a hardware store by two consecutive owners. In the 1970s, the building was inhabited by the "Friendly Flea Market."
