The Richmond Hill Herald, in speaking of the various journals opposed to the return of Mr. Gamble, says: "One Accuses him of being too proud and aristocratic; while another, on the contrary assures us he is quite a democrat; he is condemned by one party for being poor, and by another for being a nabob. One says he is too Conservative, another that he has favored the Grits. It is impossible that all these charges can be true." Like the chameleon, he has the peculiar faculty of changing colors to suit circumstances: and when in company with a Conservative, he affects to be "genuine ;" but when he meets a Grit, his tune is turned…
