Thank you so much for making these archives available to the public. As we consider refugees in these current times, I am reminded that both my parents came to Canada as refugees following the 2nd world war. This story is about my father, Eric Findeisen. I am so proud to hear the type of person he was as a young man. Turns out both I and my children follow in his footprints, helping others quite naturally. I wish for a time where we publicly honour those who help others, and encourage this behavior. Thank you for keeping this piece of our family history alive.
