On New Year's morning fire almost destroyed the pioneer farm home owned by John Turnbull, Third Concession of King opposite Eaton Hall Farm. The damage of over $25, 000 was caused by an ember of an outdoor incinerator being used by Mr. Orville Sinclair, father of Mrs. Turnbull.
