Word was received in the city today that a terrible murder had taken place last night about four miles from Brantford. The particulars as far as can be learned are as follows. An Indian name Forman, accompanied by his wife and five other Indians, left the city in a lumber waggon after dark for their home on the reserve. When about three miles out, the woman, Forman got out of the rig her husband following suit. He at once commenced a murderous assault, kicking the poor creature in a terrible way, the other Indians sitting in the vehicle and offering no assistance.
