From the Brantford Expositor: The mail carrier between Paris and Brantford, leaving Paris each evening about 9 o'clock, was last night waylaid about a mile off the first toll-gate and coolly shot down, and the mail-bags cut open and rifled of their contents. He must have been killed instantly.
