Nearly 500 residents of Midland and district - farmers, butchers, lawyers, teachers - will enact various roles of the most historical tragedy in Canada 300 years ago when six Jesuit priests were massacred by the warring Iroquois Indians, when these martyrs are honoured at the Martyrs' Shrine, near Midland, July 27 to 31.
