Mrs. Simon Creet, the former Victoria Ringham, died at her home, R.R. No. 3, Beamsville, Saturday evening, following a lengthy illness, in her 66th year.

Born in Lincolnshire, England, she came to Canada some 34 years ago and had resided in Beamsville and district since that time. Her husband predeceased her about 24 years ago.

She was very active in the Lena Davis Chapter I.O.D.E. and was the first Regent of the Chapter. She was also provincial president in 1931-32. She was a member of St. Alban's Church and also the Women's Guild. During the last war she was very active in Red Cross work.... Bruce Pollock, Englehart, Mrs. C.G. Cooper, Hamilton, Miss Sylvia and Miss Nina, at home. Also one brother, T.H. Ringham, Saskatoon, Sask., and one sister, Mrs. A.W. King, St. Catharines.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at St. Alban's Church. Interment was in Mount Osborne Cemetery, Beamsville.
