Mrs. Arthur J. Hayward, of Grimsby, died suddenly at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital Monday morning shortly after she had been taken there following a seizure.

The former Janet Flett, she was born in Grimsby, December 18, 1900, a daughter of the late William and Sarah (Currie) Flett, and had lived here all her life.

Active in women's organizations, she was a member of Grimsby Chapter of the Eastern Star, and of Alexina Rebekah Lodge. She as a member of St. John's Presbyterian Church and took a prominent part in the work of the Ladies' Aid.

Surviving, besides her husband, are two sisters, Mrs. Louise Morrison, of Grimsby, and Mrs. T.E. Atwell, of Detroit; also a brother, Bert Flett, of Grimsby.

The body is at the Stonehouse Funeral Home where funeral services will be held this Wednesday at 2 p.m. Burial will be made in Queen's Lawn Cemetery.
