Helen Isabel Walker, beloved wife of Norman M. Walker, 8 Murray Street, Grimsby, passed away Tuesday, October 28, at the Brown Nursing Home, Beamsville, in her 75th year, following a lingering illness.

A native of Preston, she was daughter of the late Alexander and Elizabeth Grieg, and had been a resident of Grimsby for about 40 years.

Prior to World War II, Mr. and Mrs. Walker moved to Middleport where they operated a business, later they returned to Wellandport.

Deceased was a member of the United Church here, and for many years was active with the W.A. and also a valued member of the church choir.

Besides her husband, three daughters mourn her passing, Miss Ruth Walker, a member of the Grimsby Public School staff, Mrs. Edward (Jean) Maitland, of London, and Mrs. K.C. (Isabel) Baxter, of Grimsby.

Resting at the Stonehouse Funeral Home, funeral service will be held Friday afternoon at two o'clock, Rev. R.K. Lemkay officiating. Burial will be made in Queen's Lawn Cemetery.
