Herman R. Jackson, honorary elder of Fulton United Church, died Friday at his residence, R.R. 1, Smithville, in his 70th year.

Mr. Jackson was born and raised in Fulton, where he was a resident all his life.

Besides his widow, the former Annie Nelson, he leaves three sons, Ross and Grant, both of Fulton, and Murray, Hamilton; two daughters, Mrs. L.A. Staples and Miss Erma Jackson, both of Hamilton; three brothers, Prof. V.W. Jackson, Grimsby; James, St. Catharines, and Waller, London, Ontario; also three sisters, Mrs. Elmer Ainsworth, Red Deer, Alta.; Mrs. Harry Morris and Mrs. Leonard Bromley, both of Grimsby.
