In Dundas on Saturday, September 6th, at 11 o'clock, the wedding took place of Madeline Margaret, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Todd of Grimsby, Ontario, to Horace Whitfield Wheelock, twin son of Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Wheelock of Nictaux Falls, Nova Scotia.
The bride wore a ballerina length gown of chantilly lace over net and satin fashioned with fitted bodice and bouffant skirt. The fingertip veil of silk illusion fell from a cap of lace and slipper satin with trimming of seed pearls.
She carried a cascading bouquet of white gardenias and stephanotis.
Miss Joan Craig of St. Catharines, Ontario, cousin of the bride, was maid of honour wearing a ballerina length full skirted gown of pale green tulle over taffeta with marching cap of ostrich tips and lace and carrying a cascading bouquet of pink mums.
The groomsman was Mr. Bryant Frank of St. Catharines, Ontario.
Following the reception in Grimsby the bride and groom left on a motor trip for Nova Scotia by way of U.S.A. to visit the parents of the groom and returned through Canada.
The bride travelled in a suit of two tone grey wool with accessories of black velvet and wore a corsage of red roses.
The young couple will reside in Grimsby.
