John B. Hildreth, of 137 Main Street West, Grimsby, died Friday in Dunnville Hospital, aged 90.
Born in Saltfleet, he had been a resident of Grimsby for 40 years and was a member of St. Andrew's Anglican Church. Mr. Hildreth's wife, the former LeVera Manary, died in 1947.
Surviving are one son, George E., of Grimsby; four daughters, Mrs. C. DeQuetteville and Mrs. Maude Fisher, both of Grimsby; Mrs. Viola Miller, of Kansas City, and Mrs. Ina Leahy, of Utica, N.Y.; two brothers, Hiram, of Hamilton, and Elmer, of Saltfleet; and one sister, Mrs. C. Dunning, of Dunnville.
The funeral service was held in St. Andrew's Church, Grimsby, on Sunday at 2:30 o'clock, followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard.
