The death occurred Monday morning of Lucius Eugene Mann, beloved husband of Olive Mann, North Grimsby township, where the family has resided for the past 8 years since moving here from the Canadian West.

A native of Iowa, deceased went to western Canada as a young man, and was occupied in the farming industry there. After moving to North Grimsby, the deceased took up fruit growing.

Surviving to mourn his passing are his wife, six sons, Roger and Harvey, of Saskatchewan, Andrew, of Alberta, Brian, Geoffrey and Neil, at home; five daughters, Mrs. Fred Lacey, Saskatchewan, Mrs. Adam Dick and Mrs. John McLaren, of Paisley, Ontario, Mrs. Alfred (Ruby) Lewis, Toronto, and Mrs. Ronald Benham, of Grimsby. Three brothers, John, George and Edwin, all of the state of Nebraska, and two sisters, Mrs. Harry Harper, Nebraska and Mrs. George Whitehouse, State of Wyoming, also survive.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon (Thursday) from the Stonehouse Funeral Home, Grimsby. Burial at Queen's Lawn Cemetery.
