A wide circle of friends and acquaintances will learn with sincere regret of the passing of Wesley Gallichan, beloved husband of Anne Jenning, which occurred very suddenly on Saturday afternoon at the family residence, Homer.
In his 75th year, he was born in Jersey, Channel Islands, and has been a resident of this district for many years. He was formerly an employee of the Welland Chemical Company and also at the St. Catharines Airport.
A veteran of the First Great War, he served with the Imperial Army, and was active in the Canadian Legion of St. Catharines and was also former president of the Grimsby branch of the Legion. In religion, he was a member of the United Church.
To mourn his passing he leaves his widow and a daughter, Miss Anne Gallichan of Toronto. Two sisters, Mrs. E. DeLaPerrele of Channel Islands, Mrs. Alfred Touzeau of Detroit, and two brothers, Phillip Gallichan of Channel Islands and John Gallichan of Detroit, also survive.
