Phillip James Harris, former mining superintendent in Northern Ontario, and resident of Winona and Grimsby for the last 7 years, died suddenly yesterday at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Grimsby. In his 70th year, he was born at Cornwall, England, and came to Canada 46 years ago. He had been connected with mines at Cobalt and Kirkland Lake for almost 40 years. He was an elder of the Fifty United Church, Winona. Surviving, besides his wife, the former Jane Richards, is a daughter, Mrs. J.H. Laundry, of Kirkland Lake; also three grandchildren.
