Mrs. Nellie Catharine Robertson, of 30 Clark Street, died on Wednesday afternoon, April 9th, after a lingering illness, in her 77th year.

She was born in North Pelham on May 21st, 1875, and had resided in Grimsby for the past 38 years. Her husband died in January, 1945.

Mrs. Robertson is survived by four sons, George, William, James, and Robert, all of Grimsby; and four daughters, Mrs. D. Simpson, Mrs. P. Vaughan, Hamilton; Mrs. Bruce Wilson, Burlington, and Mrs. Charles Mason, Grimsby. She also leaves a brother, James Gordon, of St. Catharines, and two sisters, Mrs. S. Harris, Hamilton, and Mrs. Wm. Slade, Burlington.

The funeral was held on Friday at 2 o'clock from the Stonehouse Funeral Home, with interment in the family plot at Queen's Lawn Cemetery.

Rev. John P. McLeod of St. John's Presbyterian Church conducted the services.

Pallbearers: Charles Mason, Percy Vaughan, Don Simpson, Gordon Robertson, Guy Winters, Wm. Hill.
