Charles E. St. John, of 99 Britannia Avenue, Hamilton, died Tuesday evening, April 1st, after a lengthy illness.

Born 69 years ago in Saltfleet Township and a life-long resident of this district, he was a member of No. 2292.

Mr. St. John is survived by his widow, the former Rose Porter; two sons, Charles Jr., of Hamilton, of the Faith Defenders, L.O.L., and William, with the R.H.L.I. in Germany; three daughters, Mrs. Robert Howson (Barbara) and Mrs. George Ramage (Dorothy), both of Dundas, Mrs. Gordon Bearfoot (Mary), of Hamilton; two brothers, Roy, of Grimsby, and Harvey, of Hamilton; one sister, Mrs. Tom Jabutt (Rosabelle) of Rochester, N.Y.; and 8 grandchildren.
