David Gunning, of the Township of Moulton, died at his home on the Dilts Road On Wednesday after a lengthy illness.

Born in Vinemount on June 2nd, 1865, he was a son of the late Samuel Gunning and Elizabeth Dignam. Fifty-nine years ago he was united in marriage to Caroline Hildreth, who survives him, and in 1912 they went to the Dunnville district, at which place have since resided and operated a farm.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Stanley, of Grimsby, and and daughter, May, at home; also one brother, William J. Gunning, of Painsville, Ohio; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
