John Currie Flett, formerly of Grimsby and Buffalo, died suddenly Thursday at his home in Huntsville, Ontario, in his 63rd year.
A son of the late William and Sarah Flett, he was a member of Hiram Masonic Lodge, of Buffalo, where he had resided for some years.
Surviving, besides his wife, the former Nellie H. Thompson, is a daughter, Minalee Flett, of Jamestown, N.Y.; also a step-daughter, Jennie Anne, of Huntsville; a brother, T.A. (Bert) Flett, of Grimsby; and three sisters, Mrs. W.C. Morrison, of Grimsby; Mrs. C.E. Atwell, Detroit; and Mrs. A.J. Hayward, Grimsby.
The remains were brought to Grimsby on Saturday and rested at the Stonehouse Funeral Home where funeral services were conducted on Monday afternoon by Rev. A.E. Brooks. Interment was made in Queen's Lawn Cemetery.
Casket bearers were Hugh Thompson, A.J. Hayward, Winston Morrison (Toronto), C.E. Atwell (Detroit), Thomas Walker (Hamilton), William Walker (Huntsville).
