Port Dalhousie, Jan. 18 - A life-long resident of the Niagara district died in Port Dalhousie yesterday in the person of Mrs. Alice Eliza Crow, whose passing occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Arthur Peters, 54 Albert St., following a long illness.
Widow of Robert Henry Crow, the late Mrs. Crow was born in Grimsby 88 years ago and had resided in Port Dalhousie and vicinity for the past 35 years. She was devoted to her home and family and was well-known and highly respected in this area. A son, Frederick, predeceased his mother several years ago.
To mourn her passing she leaves one son, Harry, of Grimsby; tow daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Lillian) Peters, of Port Dalhousie, and Mrs. Beverley (Gladys) May, of Welland; a sister, Mrs. Minnie House, of Niagara Falls, N.Y.; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
The late Mrs. Crow rested at the funeral home of Butler & Son, 33 Duke Street, St. Catharines, where services were held on Saturday at 2 o'clock. Interment was made in Queen's Lawn Cemetery, Grimsby.
