Mrs. Henry Berry, resident of Grimsby for many years, died on Saturday at St. Peter's Infirmary, Hamilton, in her 82nd year.
The former Olive R. Grout, she was born at Grimsby, a daughter of the late John and Jane (Nelles) Grout. Her married life was spent in Montreal. Upon her husband's death several years ago, she returned to Grimsby and since 1947 has made her home in Dundas. She was a member of St. Andrew's Anglican Church at Grimsby for most of her life.
Surviving are three stepsons: Frank Berry, Montreal; Robert Berry, Ottawa; and John Berry, Newark, N.J.; also a brother, Harry V. Grout, Port Colborne; and a sister, Miss Winnifred Grout, Toronto.
Funeral services were conducted in St. Andrew's Church by Rev. A.E.Brooks on Tuesday afternoon, with interment in St. Andrew's Churchyard. Casket bearers were Alex and Harold Grout, M.S. Willison, George and Allan Nelles.
