Coral Bell Marsh, wife of Claude A. Boden, 8 Melrose Avenue, who had been ill for the past month, passed away at Hamilton General Hospital on New Year's Eve, Dec. 31st, 1951. A daughter of the late Daniel and Margaret Marsh, she is survived by her husband, one sister, Mrs. Ella Corman, Hamilton, and a brother, Fred Marsh, Grimsby.
Born at Grimsby Beach, Mrs. Boden was a member of Grimsby Methodist Church and then of Trinity United Church. She served in the choir, and as organist, Sunday School teacher, leader in C.G.I.T., and was active in the women's organizations of the church. She was a devoted member of Grimsby Branch of the Upper Canada Bible Society, of which she was at one time secretary; and was a charter member of Grimsby Branch of the Red Cross.
Mrs. Boden taught school for many years, and was principal of Hagar School until her marriage.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. today from her late home, with Rev. R.K. Lemkay officiating. Six nephews will serve as pallbearers, Earl and Dayton Marsh, Glenn and Jack Pettit, and Herbert and Harold Corman. Interment will be made in the family plot at Fifty Cemetery.
