Ernest C. Aplin, North Grimsby Township fruit grower for the last 30 years, died Sunday at his home on Baker's Road. He had been ill for some time.

Born in Devonshire, England, he came to Ontario in 1913 and had been in North Grimsby since 1920. He was a member of St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Grimsby.

Surviving, besides his wife, is a son, Jack Aplin, North Grimsby; also two brothers, William and Walter Aplin, and a sister, Mrs. Eva William, all in England.

The body rested at the Stonehouse Funeral Home, Grimsby. Funeral services will be held from St. Andrew's Church this Thursday at 2 p.m. Burial will be made in Queen's Lawn Cemetery.
