Mrs. Harriet Pettit Biggar, of Grimsby and Effingham, died at the Hamilton General Hospital on Thursday last.

A life-long resident of the district, she was born at Winona, the eldest daughter of the late Murray and Ella (Fuller) Pettit. She was a member of St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Grimsby.

Surviving are a daughter, Leila Mary Biggar, of Effingham; two sons, James Biggar, Effingham. and Murray Biggar, of Thorndale; also two sisters, Mrs. Caleb Loud, Grimsby, and Mrs. J.A. Selby, of Fonthill, and a granddaughter, Martha Biggar, at home.

Church services were held on Saturday at 2 p.m. in St. Andrew's Anglican Church, Grimsby. Interment was made in Queen's Lawn Cemetery.

Casket bearers were George and Malcolm Nelles, James Hogan, Nelles Rutherford, G.A. Liddle, Charles Lenz.
