Mrs. L.F. Lambert, of Davenport, Iowa, a former resident of Grimsby, died last Wednesday at the Oakville Memorial Hospital.
She had arrived in Oakville last Tuesday to visit her daughter.
The former Evelyn Sloat, she has born in Stamford Township on June 11, 1894. A Grimsby resident for 11 years, she has spent the last 14 years in Davenport.
Formerly a member of Trinity United Church, Grimsby, she was a member of the Greater St. John's Church in Davenport.
Mrs. Lambert is survived by her husband, Frank; a daughter, Mrs. James Durham, Oakville; two sons, Harvey, of Grimsby, and Kenneth, Hamilton; two brothers, Sam, of St. Catharines, and Jacob, Niagara Falls; two sisters, Mrs. Joseph Eydt, of Niagara Falls, and Mrs. Edward Eydt, of Nayronne, Sask.; and 9 grandchildren.
Service was held on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Stonehouse Funeral Home in Grimsby. Interment was made in Queen's Lawn Cemetery.
