Robert Penfold, of 10 East 41st St., Hamilton, died at the General Hospital Sunday.

Form 89 years ago in Tapleytown, he farmed in Vinemount for 40 years, was a former resident of Grimsby and had lived in Hamilton for 11 years. He was of Anglican faith.

Mr. Penfold is survived by his wife, the former Rachel Chew; one son, Ernest, of Jordan Station; one brother, Dr. John Penfold, of Saskatchewan; and one sister, Mrs. H. Hamon, of Hamilton.

Service was held at the J.B. Marlatt funeral Home on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment was made in Queen's Lawn Cemetery.
