Ebenezer Lester, a resident of Woodburn most of his life, died at his home there on Friday in his 71st year.

He was a widely known farmer in the district. Mr. Lester was born at Abingdon, Ontario. He belonged to Binbrook United Church, where he served as steward; the Hindoo Koosh Grotto, and Harmony Lodge, No. 57, Binbrook. Mr. Lester was also a past patron of Binbrook Chapter, O.E.S.

Surviving besides his wife, the former Selena Gibbons, are a son, Leslie, of Woodburn; one daughter, Mrs. J.C. Krauter, of Brussels, Ont.; a brother, John, of Dunnville; and two sisters, Mrs. John Corman, and Mrs. Lettie Hummell, of Hamilton, formerly of Grimsby.
