Steve Kalinovich died at his home on Mountain Road, in North Grimsby Township, last Wednesday, in his 79th year.

Born in Poland, he came to Canada 52 years ago and for 25 years was a grain farmer in Manitoba. He lived for the last 25 years in Grimsby where he was a fruit farmer until his retirement 8 years ago. He had celebrated his golden wedding anniversary this year.

Surviving are his wife, Mary; 5 sons, Peter, of Elma, Man.; Paul and Nick, both of Hamilton; Tony, of Oakburn, Man., and Murray, of St. Ann's; also 5 daughters, Mrs. George Halchuk, Hamilton; Miss Lillian, of Oshawa; Mrs. Demetro Laba and Mrs. Elia Kushko, both of Grimsby; Mrs. Andrew Zubyk, of London, Ont.; and one brother, Fred, of Grimsby. Also surviving are 29 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

The Funeral Mass was held at St. Mary's Ukrainian Church on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock, and the burial took place in Queen's Lawn Cemetery, Grimsby.
