Mrs. Albert Jarvis, a highly respected resident of Grimsby for the last 29 years, and well known throughout this district, died at her home on Wednesday, following a lingering illness.

The former Annie Runciman, she was born in England, coming to Canada 40 years ago, and residing in Hamilton before moving here.

She was a member of Trinity United Church, the Ladies' Bible Class and Sunday School. She was also a member of the Eastern Star.

Surviving, besides her husband, are three sons and three daughters: Dr. Albert Jarvis, Toronto; Harold and Lloyd, of Grimsby; Mrs. George Shaef, of Ottawa; Mrs. Frank Clark, Hamilton; and Miss Gloria Jarvis, at home.

Funeral services which were largely attended were conducted by Rev. R.K. Lemkay, assisted by Rev. E.A. Brooks, on Saturday afternoon. Interment was in Queen's Lawn Cemetery.
