Joseph Blazenko, resident of Grimsby for the last few years, died on Saturday at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital. In his 60th year, he was born in Poland, coming to Canada 38 years ago.

He had farmed in Western Canada before coming to Ontario 13 years ago. He was a member of St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church.

Surviving, besides his wife, are a son, John, at home; and three daughters, Sophie, at home; Mrs. Morris Moyer, St. Catharines, and Mrs. Daniel Burnham, Beamsville; also 3 brothers, Dymtro, Toronto; Nicholas, Hamilton, and Rev. Michael Blazenko, Ottawa.

The body rested at his late residence, 46 Paton Street, Grimsby. Funeral Mass was held at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. Interment was made in Queen's Lawn Cemetery.
