On Saturday, April 7th, in St. Joseph's Church, Grimsby, the marriage took place of Mary Dukovac, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M. Dukovac, Grimsby Beach, to Mr. Steve Yamich of Niagara Falls, son of Mr. and Mrs. Yamich. Rev. Father Murphy officiated.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white satin brocade gown with sweetheart neckline and long train and carried a ring-shaped bouquet of Pinocchio roses and Bouvardia. Mrs. Frank Buchar, in pink taffeta, was matron of honour, and the bridesmaids were Miss M. Yamich, in pink taffeta with cape, Miss E. Oreskovich in green taffeta, and Miss N. Niksich in blue taffeta. All carried ring-shaped bouquets of carnations.
Mr. Frank Buchar of Schumacher was best man, and the ushers were Dan Sekulich, Charles Plavetich and Joe Yamich.
The bride's mother wore a powder blue street length dress with corsage of Pinocchio roses. The groom's mother was attired in navy blue with similar corsage.
The bride wore a navy blue coat, hat and shoes, with pink accessories for going away.
Out of town guests were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Buchar, Mrs. John Buchar, Mr. Luketich, all of Schumacher; Mr. and Mrs. Basta, Kay, Elma, Eva and Mary, of Sarnia; Mr. and Mrs. Basan and family; Mrs. Erent and sons of Windsor.
