Mrs. J. Edward Todd, a resident of Simcoe most of her life, died Sunday at her home, 98 Head St. South, in her 73rd year, following a lengthy illness.

A daughter of the late Thomas and Annie Joyce Macdonald, she was born in Galway, Ireland, and came to Simcoe in 1880. Her husband predeceased her in 1944. She was a member of St Mary's Roman Catholic Church and the Catholic Women's League.

Surviving are two sons, Norman and Lawrence of Grimsby; and two daughters, Mrs. Gordon Ellis, of New York and Miss Eileen Todd, at home.
